MN • 1-800-346-4870 MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT May 6, 1999 The Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment met Thursday, May 6, 1999, with the following persons in attendance: John Everts Cecil Femling David Holmgren Randy Mann Mark Steuart Rod Boyer Kyle Westergard, Land and Resource Management Michelle Eldien, Assistant County Attorney Jennifer Lessinger, Assistant County Attorney Call to Order - The Chair called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Minutes Approved - Hearing no corrections or additions the minutes of the April 1, 1999, meeting was approved as mailed. The following variance requests were heard: Jerald Einerson - Approved Jerald Einerson, Clitherall, MN, requested a variance of 25' from the required 50’ setback for the placement of two holding tanks 25’ from a wetland. The property is described as Lot 5, Linden Grove, Clitherall Lake in Clitherall Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by David Holmgren, seconded by Randall Mann and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 25’ from the required 50’ setback for the placement of two holding tanks 25’ from a wetland. Noting that the proposed location had been recommended by a licensed installer and would be an improvement over the existing situation. It was also noted that there is little choice on the applicant’s property for the location of these holding tanks and that the proposed site is perhaps the best site. teve Bigler - Denied.
