Very truly yours. ^r-ynr\J^ Jerome Johnson Laura Johnson V >1 I / o Board of Adjustment 2 September 1, 1983 Tweiten (Cont'd).The motion was seconded by John Everts with the amendment to include a 10' variance from the road right-of-way, and 5' variance from the side lot line, subject to written approval from tie Town Board, with Frank Lachowitzer and Tom Stringer voting "no". The motion was carried Ralph Maxwell, Des Plaines, 111,requested permission to build a year-around house on Lot One, Section 31, Rush Lake Township, 120 feet from the high water mark. After discussion, and after listening to the various interested parties, motion was made by Frank Lachowitzer to grant approval, if built on the south side of the hill, hardship being no view of the lake if placed 200 feet back, and building into the south side of the hill would be better than cutting the hill which would result in erosion, etc., no precedent being set, because of the uniqueness of the terrain in this particular location, carried with Craig Anderson voting "no". The motion was seconded by George Walter and / John B1eichner, Perham, MN, requested a variance from the subdivision controls or dinance for permission to record a tract of less than 21^ acres without platting, in G.L. 3, Section 30, Corliss Township. After listening to the various interested parties, and after discussion, motion was made by John Everts to deny, no adequate hardship shown, granting would establish a precedent as indications are a new devel opment possibility in the area, public should be protected by the establishment of a road to serve potential property owners. The motion was seconded by Craig Ander son and carried with Frank Lachowitzer and George Walter abstaining. Motion was made by Tom Stringer to reconsider as record was not adequate when vote was taken. The motion was seconded by peorge Walter and carried, reference being made to a certification by Jerome Johnson stating property had been purchased in May of 1960.After examining other documents, prior building permits indicate construction in 1972 for replacing the mobile home with a frame structure, an additional building permit for adding to structure in 1979, motion las made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and carried with George Walter and Frank Lachowitzer abstaining, to deny for the same reasons as previously stated.
