To whom it may concern:
We are Joint Tenants in ownership of this property. We would like to have three (3)
campers on this property. This property will be used fbr recreational purpose only. We
have no plans at this time or in the near future for homes etc on this property. We would,
however, a§k that "we could put in a bathhouse with_a.shower, sink and-loilet. We would
like to put in a 1000 gal septic tank and a 1000 gal fresh water tank for which we would
apply for a|l the necessary permits. At thisTime we have holding tanks in the campers for
waste, which we dispose of at the proper disposal sites. Our property is surrounded by
trees and i^ 500 feet from the-lake. We have a 25-foot easement that we utilize to walk to
the lake. Nothing would change at the waterfront. We have no waterfowl or swamps on
our property. We did not realize that we were in violation ofany ordinances and could
not have 3 campers on our property. In the future we will check the ordinances and get

Motion: A motion by Bergerud, second by Schwartz to deny as requested since it is not
appropriate to create a buildable site, and there is a letter from the SWCD stating there is
adequate area onsite for building without doing this filling. Voting: All members in favor.

A Conditional Use Permit Application to allow 3 campers on this property, as we are joint
tenants in ownership. This property will be used for recreational purpose only. We have

Donna Reiber indicated that they had applied for multiple campers 4 years ago and were
denied.
Motion: A motion by Lachowitzer, second by Maske to approve as presented provided
the 50’ lotline setback requirement of the Shoreland Management Ordinance is met.
Voting: All members in favor, except Zimmerman.
Break: At 8:25 p.m., the Commission took a 5 minute break.
Holly Sonmor - Approved with Conditions:
A Conditional Use Permit Application to bring existing driveway 2’ above lake level for
driveway 18’ wide (per drawing on file with Land & Resource Management Office, project
will require 800 - 900 yds of fill). Requesting to do project this Fall. The property is
described as Lots 6,7 & 8 (60.35 AC) in Section 5 of St. Olaf Township; Johnson Lake
(56-393), NE.
Holly Sonmor represented the Application, stating the contractor indicated that it would
be beneficial to move the road to the east.
Motion: A motion by Estes, second by Lachowitzer to approve the request, allowing the
road to be moved to the east provided Land & Resource Management receives &
approves a new plan showing the changed location; an erosion control and a restoration
plan must also be reviewed and approved by Land & Resource Management prior to
starting the project, may extend the September 1®‘ earthmoving deadline to November 1,
2001, Land & Resource Management may approve an additional extension if necessary.

Use Permit for requests No. 1 and No.2 with conditions as recommended by the Planning
Commission, and to uphold the denial of request No. 3 as recommended by the Planning
Commission. The property is described as GL 4 ex trs (36.15 AC) in Section 14 in Elizabeth

to fill and slope inslopes on a roadway with conditions as recommended by the Planning
Commission. The property is described as 250“’ St. in Sections 13 & 24 of Sverdrup Township
and in Sections 18 & 19 of Everts Township; North Turtle Lake (56-379).
Conditional Use Permit - Girard Township:
Motion by Froemming, second by Lee, and unanimously carried to approve a Conditional Use
Permit to fill a flooded roadway with conditions as recommended by the Planning Commission.
The property is described as 440*’ Avenue in Section 22 & 23 in Girard Township: Mason Lake
(56-196).
Conditional Use Permit - Ruby & Robert Murray:
Motion by Nelson, second by Mosher, and unanimously carried to deny a Conditional Use Permit
to excavate and fill parts of this lot to establish a buildable site as recommended by the Planning
Commission. The property is described as Pt of GL 5 in Section 2 of Perham Township; Little Pine
Lake (56-142).

Motion by Lee, second by Block, and unanimously carried to approve a Conditional Use Permit to
allow 3 campers on this property with conditions as recommended by the Planning Commission.
