The meeting was reconvened at 1:00 p.m. Proposed Grant Applications - Ethanol Project Gordon Hydukovich met with the Board and discussed grants that are available, up to $700,000, from the State of Minnesota for the proposed Ethanol Plant. Mr. Hydukovich offered to write the grants on behalf of Otter Tail County. Discussion took place regarding matching funds and the proposed bonding arrangement. Class 5 & black dirt are included in yardage. We would also like to borrow fill from the south east side of our property which is at or over a 1,000 ft from lake. The property is described as Swenson Beach Lot 1 Block 1, Section 7 of Nidaros Township: Clitherall Lake (56-238), RD. Penny & James Schaeffer, Gary Dirks and Brian Brogard represented the Application. Hal Leland & Frank Jacobson expressed concerns regarding drainage and run-off, he questioned the motivation for the volume of fill. Motion: A motion by Schwartz, second by Estes to deny for the following reasons: 1. The proposal is not suitable for the lot. 2. Drainage and run-off. 3.
