Motion: was made.by Randall, Mann,;second by David Trites and carried with Mark Steuart yoting no, to approve a
variance of 60’ from the required ordinary high Water level setback of 100’ for the placement of a proposed 20’ by 40’
structure at least 40’ from the ordinary high water level with the condition that before a building permit can be issued
the existing boathouse and metal storage shed must be removed. It was noted that granting a 40’ setback would
allow the applicant the ability to enjoy the same rights and privileges as others in the immediate area. It was also
noted that the approved variance would not establish precedence.

David A Ramage, Grand Forks, ND, requested a variance to install a septic tank and a lift station sewage
pump for a drain field within the road right-of-way on Lot 28, a variance to install a pressure sewage line,
under Fish Lake Way a township road, from the septic tank system to the drain field and a variance to
install a septic drain field within the cul-de-sac of Fish Lake Way. The property is described as Lot 28,
Provan Beach, Pelican Lake in Dunn Township. A letter from the Dunn Township Clerk indicating that
Dunn Township had no objections to the applicant’s proposed plans was read for the record. The audience
was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Cecil
Femling, second by David Holmgren and unanimously carried, to approve a variance to install a septic tank
and a lift station sewage pump for a drain field within the road right-of-way on Lot 28, a variance to install a
pressure sewage line, under Rsh Lake Way a township road, from the septic tank to the drain field and a
variance to install a septic drain field within the cul-de-sac of Fish Lake Way. It was noted that the
installation of the proposed system had been prepared by a licensed installer and that it was an
improvement over the existing system. Hardship is a very small lot.

against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, second by David Trites and
carried with Mark Steuart voting no, to approve a variance of 60’ from the required ordinary high water level
