Motion
Patricia L. Mandery - Approved with conditions.
Motion was made by Randall Mann to approve the variance as requested with the following conditions: 1.) that the
portion of the deck ahead of the building line cannot exceed 4’ in height, and 2.) the storage shed down by the lake as
shown on the applicant’s drawing must be removed. After additional discussion, this motion was withdrawn. After
additional discussion and consideration, motion was made by Cecil Femling to allow no part of the structure ahead of
the building line. After additional discussion, this motion was also withdrawn. After additional consideration, motion
was again made by Randall Mann, second by Robert Schwartz and carried with Mark Steuart voting no, to approve
the variance as requested for the placement of a 28’ by 56’ structure with the following conditions: 1.) the proposed
deck ahead of the string line must be no more than 4’ in height, including the railings, and 2.) the shed as depicted on
the applicant’s drawing must be removed before a site permit is issued.
