Lot has mobil home situated near East Battle Lake. An old deck was built
out over the lake. This was torn off a new deck built not to extend over
water. Deck was extended around east side of trailer and south to entrance.
Because of bug problems and desire to improve property, deck was screened in;
in line with existing trailer,
side would remain unscreened.

' Charles Draper, Pipestone, represented by Lorraine Draper, re
quested permission to replace old deck 5’ fron lake, on Lots 2, 3
& 4, Albrecht's Add'n to Nirvana, in Nidaros Township on East Battle
Lake. After consideration, motion was made ty Crciig Anderson to
grant approval, hardship being substandard lot of record. 'Ihe motion
was seconded by Roger Marty and carried ipon the following vote:
Yes - Walter, Anderson, Marty, Schwartz and VtLechmann
Abstaining - Everts
Glenn Dale Rogness, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to sell
by metes and bounds descriptions, parcels adjacent to platted lake
lots, increcising the areas of the platted lake lots, without platting,
and also cotibine three separate parcels and then dividing the conbined
parcel into two equal sided lots, all in G.L. 6, Section 12, Maine
Township on Pickerel Lake. After consideration, motion was made by
Marcus Wiechmann to allow the sale and transfer of metes and bounds
description properties, to be attached to and remain forever attached
to the platted lake lot adjacent, provided all documents of transfer
are presented to the County Auditor's Office at one time, with an
acconpanying surveyor's drawing depicting each lot to be conveyed.
The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried xpon the following
vote:
All voting in favor.
Motion was then made by Craig Anderson to allow the combining of the
three parcels to be split into two parcels, hardship being making
substandard lots into two more standard lots, provided, however, that
two of the cabins, designated as cabins 13 & 15, together with the
storage shed-fish house are eliminated from the resort area, subject
to obtaining an operating permit from the Planning Comtdssion, to be
accorrplished within a six month period. The motion was seconded by
John EVerts and carried upon the following vote:
All voting in favor.
Jerry Heldt, Maple Grove, MN, requested permission to allow an 8' x 12;
structure approximately 30 feet from shoreline, to remain as presently
located on Lot 15, Fliver Hills, Friberg Township on the Otter Tail River
After consideration, motion was made by Marcus Wiechmann to a;^rove,
hardship being the unique terrain features of the property. Ehe motion
was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried upon the following vote:
Yes - Walter, Anderson, Marty, Schwctrtz and Wiechmann
No - EVerts
Arnold Schroeder, Dalton, MN, requested permission to construct a JO'
X 18' garage three feet from property line, on Lot Called 30, Survey
of G.L. 4, Section 34, Tordenskjold Township on Stalker Lake. After
consideration, motion was made by Marcus Wiechmann to grant 7' variance
from lot line, provided the closest part of the addition will remain^
14 feet from the neighbor's storage cabin, hardship being able to enjoy
the same rights and privileges the neighbors enjoy. The motion was
seconded by Robert Schwartz and carried upon the following vote:
All voting in favor.
Dennis Beyer, Fredericksburg, lA, requested permission to allow a
storage shed to remain as presently located on Lot 20, Block 2, Echo
Ranch Riviera, Otter Tail Township on Long Lake. Motion was made by
Roger Marty to table because the applicant did not appear. Ihe
motion was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried upon the following
vote:
All voting in favor.
The application of Donald Roberts, in Dead Lake Township, tabled from
previous meetings, was returned for consideration. Motion was made
by George Walter to deny. Ehe motion was seconded by Maccusi'Vfifechmarin,
carried upon the following vote:
Yes - Walter, Anderson, Everts, Schwartz and Wiechmann
No - Roger Marty

per requirements of the Otter Tail County Shoreland Management Ordinance or the
Subdivision Controls Ordinance. The Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment will assemble
for this hearing on July 2nd 19 , at ^ p.m. , in the Commissioners
Room of the Otter Tail County Courthouse, Fergus Falls, MN. (Please use Law Enforcement
entrance).
This notice is to advise you that you may attend the above hearing and express your
views on the variance requested.
