placement of a drain field 0’ from the side lot lines. The property is described as Lot 1, AL Peach’s Outlets to
AL Peach’s Lakeshore, Star Lake in Dora and Star Lake Townships. The audience was polled with no one
speaking for or against the request. After consideration and discussion, motion was made by Steve Schierer,
second by Mark Steuart and unanimously carried, to approve the placement of a drain field 1.5’ from the west
lot line, 2’ from the north lot line and 20’ from the trailer home. Hardship is a substandard lot of record.
Dale and Karrine Steenblock - Approved as requested.
Dale and Karrine Steenblock, Campbell, MN, requested a variance of 25’ from the required side lot line
setback of 40’ for the placement of 7’ by 13’ water oriented accessory structure 15’ from the southerly lot line.
The property is described as Lot 1, Outlet Beach, Lake Lida in Lida Township. The audience was polled with
no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration and discussion, motion was made by Steve
Schierer, second by David Holmgren and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 25’ from the required
side lot line setback of 40’ for the location of a 7’ by 13’ water oriented accessory structure 15’ from the
southerly lot line. It was noted that had a variance been requested prior to the removal of the 16’ by 20’ portion
of the original structure that the Board of Adjustment would have approved the removal of the 16’ by 20’
portion of the building and would have allow the 7’ by 13’ portion of the structure to remain in its present
location as the removal of the 16’ by 20’ portion of the structure would have been viewed as an improvement
to the property. Hardship is a substandard lot of record. It was also noted that the lot has been improved by
the partial removal of the structure located down by the water.
