Dear Mr. Lee:
I am planning to build a cottage on Lake Clitheral near Battle
Lake, Minn, this summer,
on this lake.
Mr. Russ Myrbo, Battle Lake, Minn, will do all installation of
septic system and plumbing and I believe he is licensed to do this
work under the Otter Tail Gounty-Shoreland Management Ordinance.
I own lot No. 40 of Country Estates
Itie lot I own is quite high off the water and I see no problem in
meeting the Ht. above High Water Mark requirement, however the lot
does not meet mAnimum area and setback requirements. Can a variance
be allowed for this? I am also wondering if the building setback
could be between 90 and 95 feet rather than the 100 feet required?
Would you advise me on these questions and send me the necessary
forms to be filed with your office.
