Thursday, August 21, 1980 in the Commissioners Room of the Otter Tail County Court House in the City of Fergus Falls with Craig Anderson, Thomas Donoho, Calvin Johanson, David Trites and George Walter present. The minutes of the July 24th meeting were approved upon motion made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Calvin Johanson and carried. The following requests for variance were heard: Daniel Naumann, Bambi Resort, Battle Lake, MN, requested permission to replace a 35' mobile home with a 50 mobile home on Lots 33, 34 6 35, Deer Lake Beach, Everts Township.After discussion, motion was made by George Walter, seconded by Calvin Johanson and carried, to deny said request. Earl Sanderson, Minneapolis, MN, requested permission to construct a 24 X 22 garage in rear of lots 12, 13 £ 14, Kozelnik Beach, Edna Township, 24 from road right of way, as a sbugh prevents the 40' set back requirements.Motion was made by George Walter, seconded by Calvin Johanson and carried, to grant permission to build garage 30' from road right-of-way, or as close as possible to slough in question, being the oply practical location. Norm Overby, Moorhead, MN, requested permission to move a 24' x 24' building with a 6' X 8' addition onto a backlot on Pt. of G.L. 3, Section 7,. Dunn Tomship, near Broadwater Beach. AFter listening tothe vadous interested parties and con siderable 'discussion , motion was made by George Walter, seconded by David Trites and carried, to deny said request. \ John Elgethun, Stillwater, MN, requested permission to construct a garage 20' from road right-of-way, 5 from lot line, on Lot 11 of Madison Beach, Clitherall Township.Motion was made by Calvin Johanson, seconded by George Walter and car ried, to approve a 5' side yard set back with a 35' approximate road right-of-way set back as requested by adjoining property owner, as being the .most ideal spot because of the topography of land.
