This application for deviation is from Shoreland Management Ordinance, Otter Tail County, Minnesota for conditonsfound in
what Section of the Ordinance: HI- District Requirements Subparagraph D Table 5
EXPLAIN YOUR PROBLEM HERE: 1 propose to build a 24x40 foot utility building or garage in the
NW corner of the aforesaid lot; because of the North line angle of the lot line and if I am required to set back 40 feet from the road riaht of wav, I will be on ton of mv sewaae drainrequired to set back 40 feet from the road right of way, I will be on top of my sewage dr__ field which lies just South of the proposed utility building. Because of the angle or the
lot it would be the most practical thing to place this building in the NW corner of this lot
where it will be hidden from the road by the evergreen presently growing on the lot. Because
of the existing circumstances of the lot angle and the drainage field, I feel it would be
unreasonable, impractical, and would work an unnecessary hardship to require this building set back 40 feet at all points to the road right of way. I ask for a variance of ao feet from rhe .9nn1-h Tnad right- nf way linp afnT-dqaiH 1 ri-t;
In order to properly evaluate the situation, please provide as much supplementary information as possible, such as: maps.
plans, information about surrounding property, etc. on Lot 10 there exists a garage nearer the road right of way than this proposed building. Also please be advised that there exists a fish cleaning
house on the proposed site that will be removed prior to building. Allowance of the variance
requested will enable me to make the most practical use of this lot for this purpose.
Attached hereto and made a part hereof is a grid plan showing the various locations.
