The new 2 stoi^ home will be no closer than the existing foundation., The required setback is 100’. The new second story home will be 7.5’ at the closet point to the lot line. Required setback is 10’. The audience was polled with no'one speaking for or against the variance as requested. An email with an attached letter from Carol Dockery, Karen Snell, Henry Hedberg and Janice Hedberg expressing concerns with the requested variances was read for the record. After discussion and consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion,.seconded by Thomas Lee and unanimously carried, to approve a variance from the required ordinai-y high water level setback of 100’ for the replacement of an existing cabin with a new two stoiy home 76’ from the ordinaiy high water level and at least 10’ from the side lot line. The variance as approved will provide the applicants with a reasonable use of their property and allow them to use a portion of the existing foundation. The variance as approved does not‘directly or indirectly grant any other variances for the proposed or future development. Charles Meckstroth - Variance application approved as requested. (7:17 p.m.) Charles Meckstroth, Lot 7 Inwood Beach Third Addition, Fish Ldke iri Dumi Township, requested the following: Proposing to add a second stoiy addition (30 by 25) over existing cabin 7’ from the lot line (per recent survey stakes July 2016), the lotline required setback is 10’. The proposed second stoiy addition will be 53’ from the ordinaiy high water level. The proposed second story will be no closer to the lake than the existing cabin. The required setback is 75’. A previous variance for the original cabin was approved October 7, 1987. Included with a letter from Cynthia Sillers (neighbor) not objecting to the variance requested in 1987. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration. Ward Uggenad made a motion, seconded by Rick Wilson and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 3’ from the required side lot line setback of 10’ and a variance of 22’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 75’ for a 30’ by 25’ second story addition over an existing cabin 7’ from the side lot line and 53’ from the Ordinaiy high water level as stated in the application dated August 15, 2016 and as depicted on the drawing submitted with the application. The proposed development will be no closer to the to the ordinary high water level than the existing cabin.
