follows - may fill an area, starting at the west lotline, not
closer than 10' to Gizzard Creek, going easterly to the willow
tree, a maximum of 6*; the applicant must create a 6* hers along

Conmisslcner Hovland r^»rted on the proposed state contract fbr the salt supply in the City of Pelican R^ids, submitting a contract
to be reviewed by the County Attorney.
PUBLIC ACCESS - PELICAN Prcblems at the public access on Pelican Lake were discussed, as well
as the cost of repairs on the dam at Phelps Mill. No action.
Motion was matte by Bert Hovland, seconded by Hi±i Nord^en and mani-
iTDusly carried, to approve the applicaticai for conditional use permit
of Ralph J. Conoryea, in Lida Township, to stop or level bank, add a
sand blanket to each 60' lot on the Olthoff, Baukol and Hansen pro
perties, as well, stabilizing the area, but not requiring the rip-
1-ap as reoemnentted by the planning ootimissiGn.

Upon motion made by Andy Lindquist, seconded by Bert Hovland ^ald unani
mously carried, the following resolution was adopted:
RESOLVED by the Board of County Conmissicners of Otter Tail Oouity
Minnesota, that
WHEREAS Otter Tail Comty has had prepared a Conpr^ensive Local
Water Plan as required,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the County Board does here by extept
the Ccrpr^iensive Local Water Plan as written, and
BE IT FUKIHER RESOLVED, cost of inplementing said plan to be ref^arzed to
the 1991 Budget Ocmdttee for reoemmendatien on financing.

The Oomty Board ccknowledged receipt of a letter fran the U. S. Fish
And Wildlife Service indicating support and assistance in the adoption
of the Cenprehensive Local Water Plan.

tation is being held by the Board of Water & Soil Resouroes at the
American legion at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 30, 1990.

mously carried, to terporarily assign Tim Greip to the position vacated
by V4n. Kalar when Kalar was terporarily appointed as Land & Resource Manager, moving Greip from a Range 14, St^ 6, to Range 16, at the next
hi^iest Scilary above the Range 14, Step 6, oonnencing October 1, 1990.
The matter of fees charged in an "after-the-fact" application was
discussed with no action taken.
