Hardship is a substandard lot of record. Riveland, Pelican Rapids, MN, requested a variance of 6’ from the required side lot line setback of 10’ and a variance of 2’ 4” from the 18’ maximum allowable height of a single story non­ dwelling structure for the construction of a 24’ by 32’ garage, with a loft, 4’ from the property line and having an overall height of 20’ 4”. The audience was not polled as there was no one in attendance other than the applicant at the time of this public hearing. After consideration motion was made by Cecil Femling, second by Randall Mann and unanimously carried, to approve a 2' variance form the required side lot line setback of 10’ for the construction of a single story garage, not to exceed 18’ in height, 8’ from the lot line with the condition that before a site permit can be issued the sheds identified on the applicant’s drawing as units 7 and 8 must be removed.
