UINN. s - 2 -October 3, 1985Board of Adjustment • Janes Habemen, Barney, ND, requested permission to enclose an existing carport located O' from property line, GO' setback from lake, on lot 21, Pleasant Grove, Amor Township. AFter listening to the various in­ terested parties, motion was made by piarcus Wiechmann, seconded by June I^an and unanimously carried, to deny, no adequate hardship shewn. John Gulstad, Pelican Rapids, MN, requested permission to convey a par­ cel of less than 2h acres to a partnership of four, to be used for a cliaster system drainfield, in G.L. 7, Section 28, Dunn Township. After listening to the various interested parties, motion was made by Craig Anderson to approve, subject to a surveyor's drawing, hardship being small lots of record not large enough for proper . sewage sys­ tems. The motion was seconded by Roger Marty and carried unanimously. James Haberman Denied John Gulstad ;^proved Leo Flaming, West Fargo, ND, requested permission to construct addition to cottage 28' x 24' and addition to cottage of 12' x 24', cottage addi­ tion to be 3' from sidelot line, garage 5' from sidelot line, on Tr. called #11, in G.L. 8, Section 28, Dunn Township. After listening to the various interested parties, motion was made by Roger Marty to approve addition to house, no closer to line than existing footing wtiich appears to be 5' frem lot line, hardship being a substandard lot being able to enjoy the same privileges as the neighbors enjoy. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried unanimously. Motion was made by Roger Marty to allow garage O' from back lot line, in line with neighbor's garage. The motion was withdrawn. Leo Flaming Cwelling approved Garage tabled During the course of discussion, additional facts came to light re­ lative to the Gulstad matter in that v/hat was believed to be a road is in fact not a road, effecting also the Flaming matter. For that reason motion was made by Craig Anderson to rescind the motion giving approval to the Gulstad transfer of property. The motion was seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried. Gulstad approval rescinded totion was then made by George Walter, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to table action on the Flaming and Gulstad matter. Gulstad, Flaming 13bled Fred Flatau, Frazee, MN, requested riermission to subdivide a parcel of land, leaving a parcel of less than 2h acres, in G.L. 3, Section 3, Edna Township. After listening to the various interested parties, motion was made by June Ryan to approve, subject to submitting a sur­ veyor's drawing and conditioned upon Lot 2 being divided and attached to adjacent lots. The motion was seconded by ^'tlrcus Wiechmann and carried unanJ-mously. Rhonda Lee, Battle Lake, MN, requested permission to enclose a 6* x 14' under an open roof area, 50' from lakeshore on Lot 35, Bertsten's North Shore Camp, in Section 25, Clitherall Township. After listening to the various interested parties, motion was made by John Everts to approve, hardship being able to enjoy same rights and privileges other houses in the area being much closer to lake. The notion was seconded by Craig Andersen and carried with June F^^an voting "no". Fred Flatau T^roved ^ knonaa Le^ ^ improved -;i Duane & Winnie Ulschirdd, Fargo, ND, requested permission to add a 34' X 12' and 8' x 8' L shaped addition to dwelling, after dwelling moved back 16' from lake, 6' from lot line on N side and 3' from lot line on S side, placing dwelling 4' farther back from lake than present loca­ tion. After consideration, motion v/as made by Roger Marty to approve moving the dwelling back 16' with an addition of 12' onto front, with a set back 4' farther back from existing foundation, 7' frem side lot lines, allowing 3' variance on north side only, hardship being sub­ standard lot, and being able to enjoy the same rights and privileges the neic^Tbors enjoy. As a result some of the floor boards were I tried plastic and caulking each space between the boards but this I didn't realize I needed a permit as I was under 100 enclosed section and the floor of addition was there when I bought the house and I didn't think I was doing anything illegal.
