The audience was polled with Richard Harding, Crane Lake Property Owners Association speaking in support of the variance as requested. A deck less than 3’ in height possibly could be placed ahead of the sightline. Hardship is a substandard lot of record. James C Johnson - Denied. GEORGE AND ELAINE RESSMEYER - APPROVED George and Elaine Ressmeyer, Burnsville, MN, requested a variance to construct a new house that would be 80' from the ordinary high water level and would be within the shore impact zone. The r equired setback from the ordinary high water level is 200' and the shore Impact zone setback requirement is 100'. With an 80' setback the house would be behind the building line.
