Bill Harold Hanson, Clitherall, MN, requested a varjance to split off a parcel of less than 2.5
acres. The parcel would be about 1.61 acres and would have i 50'of lake frontage. Also
planning on dedicating 66' of right-of -way for access. The property is described as part of
Government Lots 3 and 4 and part of theSE 1 /4, Section 24 In Clitherall Township on Clitherall
Lake. Mr. Parker Kvebak of Fargo, ND represented the applicant at this meeting. The audience
was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. After consideration, motion was'
made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Victor Petterson and unanimously carried to table this
request. After additional discussion and consideration the Board indicated that the proper
procedure would be to plat this subdivision since the property adjacent is already in a platted
area. A motion was then offered by John Everts, seconded by Victor Petterson and unanimously
carried to reconsider the Board's action to table this request. The applicant requested
permission to withdraw his variance request since it would not be approved and Instead the
applicant would proceed with the necessary procedures for platting this subdivision. The Board
granted the applicant's request to withdraw and authorized a partial refund of his application fee
($15.00).

September 12th, 1991 meeting. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against
this request. After consideration .motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded byj)an Oehler
and unanimously carried, to table this request until.additional Information regarding the
location of the road right-of-way can be established.

construction of a 24' by 24' attached garage. The property Is described as Lot 19, Basswood
Rldge,-South Turtle Lake In Tordenskjold Township. This request had been tabled from the
September 12th, 1991 meeting. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against
this request. After consideration, motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Dan Oehler
and unanimously carried, to approve the variance as requested. Hardship being a substandard
lot of record and the terrain and the topography. Also, the granting of this variance will allow
the applicant to enjoy the same rights and privileges as others in the area. No precedents are
being established.- -
