It was noted that the structure will be used for equipment storage and that the proposed location will not restrict the view from the adjacent properties. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried to approve a variance for the construction of a 4/12-sloped roof on an existing one-story flat roof cabin. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by David Holmgren and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 5’ from the required 18’ maximum height of a non-dwelling structure for the construction of a 40’ by 80’ pole barn having an overall height of 23’. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Dave Trites and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 4’ from the required lot line setback of 10’ for the addition of a screened porch to an existing cabin 6’ from the lot line. It was noted that the proposed addition would be no closer to the ordinary high water level than the existing structure. Hardship is a substandard lot of record. It was noted that the granting of this variance would not establish precedence in this immediate area.
