Motion was made by Cecil Femling, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to deny the variance as
requested as no adequate hardship had been shown and if the variance was granted more than 25 percent of the total
lot area would be covered with impervious surfaces.

Richard Ressler - Aprpoved
Richard Ressler, West Fargo, ND, requested a variance of 70’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of
100’ and a variance of 20’ from the required shore impact zone setback of 50’ for the construction of a proposed 14’
by 19’ screen porch 30’ from the ordinary high water level and a variance of 58’ from the required ordinary high water
level setback of 100’ and a variance of 8’ from the required shore impact zone setback of 50’ for the construction of a
12’ by 12' storage shed 42’ from the ordinary high water level. The property is described as part of Government Lot 5,
Section 32 of Hobart Township by Sybil Lake. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the
request. After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, seconded by Robert Schwartz and unanimously
carried, to approve the construction of a proposed 14’ by 19’ screen porch being no closer to the ordinary high water
level than the existing dwelling and to approve a variance of 58’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of
100’ and a variance of 8’ from the required shore impact zone setback of 50’ for the construction of a 12’ by 12’
storage shed 42’ from the ordinary high water level with the condition that the use of the garage as a second dweliing
must be discontinued.

Mark R. and Carol J. Lundholm, Clitherall, MN, requested a variance to cover more than 25 percent of their total lot
area with impervious surfaces, and a variance of 6’ from the required road right-of-way setback of 20’ for the location
of the proposed 28’ by 32’ garage 14’ from the road right-of-way or a variance of 3’ from the required road right-of-way
setback of 20’ and a variance of 3’ from the required drain field setback of 10’ for the location of the proposed 28’ by
32’ garage 17’ from the road right of way and 7’ from the drain field. Approximately 29% of the total lot area will be
covered with impervious surfaces after construction of the proposed garage. The property is described as Lot 2,
Alberg’s Survey Lots, Clitherall Lake in Clitherall Township. The audience was polled with Rodney Hinz speaking
against any variance from the required road right-of-way setback. After consideration, motion was made by Cecil
Femling, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to deny the variance as requested as no adequate
hardship had been shown and if the variance was granted more than 25 percent of the total lot area would be covered
with impervious surfaces.

Adolph Ista, West Fargo, ND, requested a variance of 72’ from the required side lot line setback of 90’ for the
construction of a 10’ by 10’ by 10’ storage shed 57’ from the ordinary high water level and 18’ from the east property
line. The property is described as part of Government Lot 1, Section 6 of Dead Lake Township by Pine Lake. "The
audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Craig
Anderson, seconded by Randall Mann, and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 72’ from the required side
lot line setback of 90’ for the construction of a 10’ by 10’ by 10’ storage shed 57’ from the ordinary high water level
and 18’ from the east property lot line. Hardship being the terrain of the applicant’s property. It was noted that the
property directly to the east is not buildabie.
