Variance #2 to be completed by end of 2010. The required setbacks are as follows: ordinary high water level - 100’, road right-of-way - 20’, and,, lot line - 50’. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Randall Mann made a motion, second by Rick Wilson and carried with Steve Schierer abstaining to approve the placement of a 8’ by 20’ bathroom addition to the Community Hall no closer to the ordinary high water level than the backside of the existing Community Hall, which should place the proposed addition approximately 60’ from the ordinary high water level, to approve the decks as requested in the variance application for Cabins 3, 4, 5 and 6 and to approve the addition of a 26.24’ wide garage to Structure Number 8. The specific length of the garage was not stated; however, the garage must remain at least 10’ from the lot line. It should also be noted that the variances as approved are conditioned upon no more than 25% of the total property being covered with impervious surfaces. Trevor and Heather Opheim - Approved the variance as requested. (7:30 p.m.) Trevor and Heather Opheim, Lot 1 Lone Pine Beach and part of Government Lot 7, Section 1 of Dora Township by Sybil Lake, requested a variance of 14’ from the required 50’ setback for the placement of a holding tank 36’ from the ordinary high water level. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion, second by Carl Zick and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 14’ from the required 50’ setback for the placement of a holding tank 36’ from the ordinary high water level. It was noted that the variance as approved will provide the applicants with a reasonable use of their property. It was also noted that the proposed location is the best location for the proposed holding tank, if not, the only location available to the applicants.
