There is a current structure which has been used by us located on the property 162 feet back from the current water level and 150 feet from the high water mark. shoreline. This has been used as a seasonal type of cabin/lakehome. It is our intent to remodel the existing structure and add an addition onto this current structure for purposes of making this our year-round home. This building will continue to be used as a single family type home. The lot acreage that surrounds this home is in excess of eight million square feet (over 200 acres). There is also well in excess of 2,000 feet of water frontage. The land to which this building is on was bought in two separate parcels. The addition would come close to, if not cross over into, another parcel which is also owned by ourselves. The addition would run to the North of the current home.It would be impossible for the addition to run to the West, as this would be closer to the lake.We would prefer not as this would requirerunning the addition to the South, extensive fill plus the addition would be more visible from the lake.We cannot run it to the East, as this again would require fill and would place the building close to a swamp By going to the North, this addition will have little, if any, environmental impact, down of several diseased Red Oaks, and there are also several Norway Pines which we would intend on moving to other areas of the land. area.It would require the taking The structure would be barely visible from the lake in light of the fact that there are heavy woods between the proposed addition and the lake, home, will be made of natural logs which will blend in with the environment.
