2. Grade stakes are to be placed onsite prior to starting the project,
L&R is to be contacted for verification. 3. Temporary erosion control
measures (silt fence & bale checks) are to be installed (starting east
of the existing corral going southwesterly to the berm at the road right-
of-way). 4. No earthmoving is to be done within 30' of the top of the bluff;.
5. The existing drainage area must remain at its current level. 6. Finished
grade of cut area may not exceed a 4-1 slope.

Joy Johnson and I ( Gaylord Johnson) are the owners of a tract of land (5.5 acres in
that part of Government Lot 5, Section 8, Township 135 North, Range 42 West, in
Otter Tail County, Minnesota and as identified on certain warranty deed recorded in
the office of the County Recorder County of Otter Tail on the 6“^ day of May 1996
as Document No. 790288).
We are filing this application for a Conditional Use Permit to carry out grading and
filling to level an area to be used for future development of a homestead. We have
reviewed our plans with Don Schroeder Construction (^^5-863-6590) of Pelican
Rapids. Our plans are to grade an area of about 1 acre of which is now part of a
tame hay field. This would require moving about 1,000 cubic yards of material,
leveling and reseeding to tame hay. If the Conditional Use Permit is granted we
would like to start and complete this project between April and September 1998.
We have enclosed a check for $90.00 for the filing fees along with a drawing
showing the effected area.
Should you need additional information please request. I would like to be notified
of the date the Planning Commissioners meets to review my filing. I would plan to
attend. Thank You.
