It is necessary to have the entrance high enough to walk in and the center of the roof high enough to provide good drainage and appropriate aopearance of the adjacent higher trees. A height of 13 feet 10 inches is needed for proper structure design per architect in this location. After consideration, motion was made by Cecil Femling, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 5' from the required side lot line setback of 10’ for the construction of a 26' by 30' garage.
