William A. Langenwalter, Moorhead, MN, requested permission to
construct a 16' x 22' boathouse 20 feet from lake, on Lot 4, Johns
Cove, Maine Township, /^jpearing in person and/or submitting
written Garments: Warren Herschner, JOhn Peterson, Ernie Schauf,
Ed & Pat Thorpson, James & Joyce M. Gorman, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph N.
Mahoney, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Kaiser, Paul & Ruth Ann Lindholm.
After consideration, motion was made by John Everts to deny the 16'
X 22' boathouse, to allow would start a precedent in the area with
no other boathouses in said area, but allow construction of an 8' x 8
storage building, hardship being terrain and being able to enjoy the
same rights and privileges as the neighbors enjoy. The motion was
seconded by George Walter and carried with the following vote:

.71 acre for home site, in the NEJgSWV of Section 17, Elmo Township.
After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson to approve,
hardship being a residual piece of property along CSAH #40, meeting
criteria as to size and access to road, with a surveyor's drawing to
be s\±mitted. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried with
the following vote:

Maynard Paulsen, Battle Lake, MN, represented Milton Paulson, re
quested permission to make a one-time split of less than 2.5 acres,
out of G.L. 4, Section 27, Tordenskjold Tewnship. After consideration,
motion was made by John Everts to approve, lot is adequate size con
taining a buildable site and road access, meeting all requirements
for minimum lot size, etc., balance of area cannot be further developed
because of the terrain, approved subject to tom board approval. The
motion was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried with the followijig
vote:

DeVJayne Holum, Blaine, r4N, requested permission to construct a 10' x
16' porch 65' from lake, on Part of G.L. 1, Section 13, Clitherall
Township. Dale Wussew appeared and a letter from Joseph Mies was read.
After consideration, motion was made by John Everts to approve, not
setting a precedent with construction being behind building line,
farther back fron lake than other existing cabins. The motion was
seconded by Marcus Wiechmann and carried with the following vote:
