The motion died for lack of a second. After additional discussion, with the consideration that Mr. Nelson sells no portion of the total property, motion was made by Tom Stringer to approve, topography creating a hardship, would serve the legitimate objective of reducing the crowding on the lake by having a commitment for an unknown number of years that the lots would be tied together. We are dealing with 360 feet of frontage on the aggregate and therefore :no precedent on that lake or very low precential value. The motion was seconded by John Everts with the amend ment of screens on all four sides, with a skirt of no higher than 1%' from the walking surface. The motion carried. William C. Poss, Moorhead, MN, requests permission to construct a garage 3 feet from property line, on lot called Lot A, Poss Survey Lots of G.L. 7,Section 31, Dunn Town- After discussion, motion was made by John Everts to deny, lot large enough to place a garage to meet ordinance requirements, no adequate hardship shown, motion was seconded by Frank Lachowitzer and carried, as no mention was made to the variance for the road set back requirements. ship. The Gordon Bakken, Fergus Falls, MN, requests permission to construct an addition to existing garage 3' from lot line, on Lot 2, Isaacson's Add'n to Augustana & Jonelsa Beaches, Amor Township.Aft^er discussion, motion was made by Craig Anderson to approve, as many others in the area have a 3' set back, hardship being a 75' lot, entry not being directly onto road, needs additional storage space. The motion was seconded by Tom Stringer and carried. ^ % Ruth Thomas-Winjum, Brainerd, MN, requests permission to place garage, one corner of which would be 36' from roadway, on a tract in G.L. 11, Section 3, Hobart Township. After discussion, motion was made by John Everts to approve, due to the unique topo graphy and shape of lot, northwest corner of garage no closer than 36' from the driving surface of the road. Town Board has stated approval and contingent upon having the garage doors on north side of structure. The motion was seconded by Frank Lachowitzer and carried. o’ OTTER TAIL COUNTY Fergus Falls, Minnesota 56537 NOTICE OF HEARING FOR VARIANCE TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Richard Nelson 2341 Skyline Drive Bloomington, MN 55420 has made application to the Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment for a Variance as per requirements of the Otter Tail County Shoreland Management Ordinance or the Subdivision Controls Ordinance. The Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment will assemble August 4 19 85 , at 7j30for this hearing on p.m., in the Commissioners (Please use Law EnforcementRoom of the Otter Tail County Courthouse, Fergus Falls, MN. entrance).
