UIRN i;f MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT November 7, 1985 Ihe Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment met in the County Cartmis- sioners Room of the Otter Tail County Courthouse, Thursday, Novenber 7, 1985, with the following members present: 11 present George Walter Marcias Weichmann June Ryan Roger Marty Craig Anderson John Everts > Chairman Walter opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m., and hearing no corrections or additions to the October 3rd meeting minutes, declared same approved as mailed. all to order Lnutes approved The following applications for variance vere considered: f anied & Baa±ara Fehrenbacker, Wyoming, IL, represented by Irving Dewey of Fergus Falls, requested peomussion to allow a storage shed to remain as presently located on Lot 1, Moore's Beach, 12' fran Pickeral Lake, Iteine Township. After listening to the various inter ested parties, motion was made by Marcus I'feichman to deny, no adequate hardship shown. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried unanimously. Charles 0, Bladholm, flarshall, M^J, requested permission to build on the cabin's existing foundation and put a 14' x 20' additicn towards Blanche Lake, on Lot 53, Kinber Beach, Girard Township. AFter listen ing to the various interested parties, motion was made by Craig Ander son to approve, no'change of 7' side lot variance by denying the variance, must meet the string test on the lake side for the addition. The motion wcis seconded by John Everts but failed with Roger Marty, June pyan and George Walter voting "no". Motion was then mde by June Ryan to allow building rp to "string test", with no side lot variance, allowing applicant to enjoy the same rights and privileges as neichbors enjoy. The motion was seconded by Roger Mary and carried unanimously. Robert P. After consideration, motion vas made by John Evearts to approve, hardship being the unusual terrain with several other cottages in the vacinity being the same distance from the lake, no precedence being set using the "string test".
