Chairman Walter opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m., and hearing no changes to the November minutes, declared same approved as mailed. Craig Anderson absent. The following applications for variance were considered: ^’chard Baker, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to construct a 4' x 6' structure i to cover well pump, 30' from ordinary highwater mark, on property located on 2nd Add'n After consideration, motion was made by John 1 to Sundberg's point in Maine Township. Everts to approve construction of a 4' x 6' structure, 4' in height, to obtain the objective of the applicant and yet not be an objection for the neighbors, replacement of an existing structure over an existing well. The motion was seconded by June Ryan Vind carried with Roger Marty and Thomas Stringer voting "no".I Clifford Quren, Battle Lake, MN, requested permission to construct a 16' x 32' storage building attached to existing garage on Lot 12, Timberlane Beach, Everts Township. After considerable discussion, the application was withdrawn by Ouren. Keith Kapphahn, Greenbush, MN, requested permission to an a 10' x 10' addition to existing storage shed, on a parcel in G.L. 4, Section 26, Girard Township. After con­ sideration, motion was made by John Everts to deny, no adequate hardship shown and there are alternative locations available. The motion was seconded by Thomas Stringer and carried. John R. Francis, Fargo, ND, requested permission to construct a building to house a portable generator, 3' from property line on Lots 6 & 7, Block 4, of the Amended Plat of Sub/div of Res. A,B,C,D of Hagstrom's Beach, Maine Township, made by Thomas Stringer, seconded by Roger Marty and carried, to table until next meeting so proper notices can be mailed to adjacent property owners,. Motion was 5 \} OctoE^ 4, 1984(iBoard of -^justment I Rich Lebahn and Phil Nelson, West Fargo, ND, requested permission to construct addition to nobile hone 46' fron lake shore and a storage shed 13' fron shoreline and 10' from side lot line, on Lot 33, Block 3, Lida Shores, Lida Township.After ccxisideration, motion waanade Craig Andersen to approve a 12' x 12' addition to mobile hone, hard­ ship being terrain and fact that it is further from the lake than the original irbbile heme and adjacent nei^nbor's house, an inprovement over the original location.The motion was seconded George Walter and carried with Roger Marty voting "no", Thomas Stringer and June Ryan abstaining. Motion was made by Roger Marty, seconded by Craig Anderson and carried, to deny approval of the location of the storage shed, as there are other places on lot. Motion was then made by Thomas Stringer, secended by Craig Anderson and carried, to reconsider. After additional discussion, motion was made by George Walter to approve storage shed to be placed no closer bo lake than existing mobile heme, exclusive of addition. The motion was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried. George Schulte, et al. Pelican Rapids, MN, requested permission to convey four parcels to be attached to four substandard lots of record, without platting, on area behind lots After consideration, motion was made by Thomas Stringer, seconded by Roger Marty and carried, to approve, hardship being a sig­ nificant inprovement to existing substandard lots, subject to surveyor's drawing being submitted. 6, 7, 8 & 9 of Beauty Bay, Dunn Township, N. J. McConachie, Frazee, MN, requested permission to sell a parcel containing approx- inetely 18,000 sqrare feet in G.L. 7, Section 27, Hdaart Township, without platting. Motiem was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Thomas Stringer and carried, to approve, hardship being best use of property; line C-D as depicted on the drawing submitted, being the best logical line for division of property. . -5 ■ Richard Baker, Fergus Falls, MN, request for permission to construct a 4' x -6' structurei to cover well punp, 30' from ordinary high water mark.CXI Lot 5, Sundberg's Point, Maine Township, was tabled at Baker's request until the Deoentoer meeting.
