Also in anticipation of adding on to the main cabin, we plan to double the size of the existing drainfield to the north. So as to avoid encroaching on the enlarged drainfield and to prevent destroying a stand of three mature trees, we are requesting a variance from the setback standards to permit a 5 foot si deyard setback and a 5 foot rear g-pthark. Our rear lot line borders an undivided 7 acre parcel of primarily wooded land owned by four of our neighbors to the west. The distance from the rear lot line to the edge of the woods varies from approximately 35 feet to 50 feet most of which area consists of an easement from the township road. To the west of the proposed garage site is a similar garage constructed in 1988 by our neighbors, the Middletons, who were also granted 5 foot sideyard and rear line setback variances. Attached is a drawing of the property showing the approximate location of existing structures and of the proposed additions.
