Would like to construct a 12' by 20' generator building 3
road right-of-way for the following reasons:
This 12' by 20' would replace an existing 8' by 8' storage shed 0
Would like to have same privilege as neighbors in area, several of which have
storage buildings on lot lines.
This generator would supply electricity to both my home and my neighbor's home
who has no objection as enclosed letter indicates.
Lot was purchased in early 1960's and as such is substandard in size therefore
I am limited by land area for the placement of this structure.
Future plans include the construction of a garage (next to house) which if the
generator building was placed 10' from lot line would mean we would have to back
out onto the road rather than onto our lot which could pose safety problems.

John Francis, Fargo, ND, requested permission to construc± a 12' x 20' generator '
building 3' from lot line and 30' from road right-of-way on Lots 6 and 7, Block 4,
Amended Plat of Subdivisions of Pes: A-B-C-D of Haggstran's Beach, Maine Town^ip,
Motion was made by Craig Anderson to approve, subject to full wiring inspection
and approval of the REA, with Francis assuming, full expenses on this experiment.
The motion was seconded by John Everts with an amendment stating there are a number
of adjacent property ov/ners that have substandeurd lots not in caipliance with the
building code, so applicant should be able to enjoy the same rights arid privileges
as the neighbors enjoy, no precedence being set, maximum side wall height of 7'
with the provision no further variances from the ordinance created on this property
in the future, this construction being a inprovement over the building being replaced
