After discussion and consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion, seconded by Thomas Lee and unanimously carried, to
deny the variance as requested as no adequate hardship/practical difficult unique to the property had been shown that would
allow for the granting of the variance as requested and it was noted that there are other options (removing deck, using
permeable pavers) available that would not result in the impervious surface coverage increasing from 30% to 36.44%.

We are writing to you regarding our neighbors Mike and Jo Kearns and their
property on North Pickerel Lake Drive.
The Kearns' property lies to the west of our cabin/lot and our driveways are
adjacent. We are not in opposition to them putting in a driveway. Water runoff
is not a concern for us. Water has never been an issue on our property due to a
higher elevation. We are in favor of a driveway for the Kearns to help with
accessibility.
