After consideration, motion was made by Cecil Femling, second by Roberts Schwartz and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 1.4’ from the 18’ maximum allowable height of a non-dwelling structure for the construction of a 36’ by 48’ pole shed having an overall height of 19.4’. It was noted that only a small part of the structure is within the County’s jurisdiction and the added height does not restrict the view from the adjacent properties due to the terrain features in the immediate area. The Chair also directed that a letter should be sent to the contractor advising them of the height requirements. Glen and Keith Freeland - Approved Glen and Keith Freeland, Cummings, ND, requested a variance to subdivide a 5.6-acre parcel into two metes and bounds parcel of less than 5 acres. One parcel would be approximately 2.74 acres and the other parcel would be approximately 2.86 acres.
