The Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment met Thursday, July 11, 1985

i Craig Anderson absent. Chairnan Walter Ccilled the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., and
:hearing no additions or corrections to the minutes of the June 6th meeting declcired
same approved as mailed.!
Hie following applications for variance were considered:
Gordon J. Peterson, Elbcw Lake, MN, requested permission to build a bathrocm addition
onto existing cottage six feet from septic tank, on parts of Lots 8 and 9 of Rosenquist;
Beach, Eagle Lake Tcwnship. After consideration motion was made by John Everts, seoonded
by Marcus Wiechmann and carried, to deny, no adequate hardship shown, not wanting to cdm-
pranise state health department requirements, variable alternatives available.
Syrus Kouri, Minneapolis, MN, requested permission to enclose open deck and extend 4
feet, 47' from lake, on Pt. G.L. 2, Section 32, Lida Township. After considera^on,

notion was made by Marcus Wiechmann, seocnded by John Everts and unanimously carried,
I to deny, no adequate hardship shown,

i Kevin Ifelicher, Fargo, ND, requested permission to construct "screened porch, with roof
i 24' fron lake, on a parcel in G.L. 3, Section 33, Dunn Township. After consideration,
notion was made by Roger Marty, seconded by June I^an and unanimously carried, to grant
variance to build rp to existing frontline of cottage on south side, but no further for
ward than the existing cottage.

j Arfay Grossman, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to construct a 10' x 28' enclosed
i screai porch 35' from lake, on Lot 8 of Sundberg's Point 1st Add'n, Maine Township.
After consideration, motion was made by Marcus Wiechmann, seconded by George Walter and
unanimously carried, to deny request as presented, allowing an addition of 5 feet on

the front, or \jp to a line extended between the front of the cottages on either side,
or the string test.
