(6:32 p.m.) After discussion and consideration, Paul Larson made a motion, second by Joe Maske and unanimously carried, to approve the variance as stated in the application and as depicted on the drawings submitted with the variance application dated August 2, 2005 with the condition that no more than 25% of the total lot area can be covered with impervious surfaces and with the condition that the septic tank will be placed at least 10’ from the side lot line. The Board noted that the variance as granted will provide the applicant with a reasonable use of her property and also noted that the existing structure was ahead of the string line. We understand that the owner is asking for a variance allowing the placement of a drain field on township property which borders the north side of our property line and runs approximately 35 feet towards our east property line. We have been shown the blueprints and plans of the building project, including the septic and drain field.
