It was noted that the new structure would comply with all variances as previously granted on November 14, 1996. Hardship is a substandard lot of record. It should be noted that the Board did attempt to move the proposed new structures further off the side lot line, but found no other suitable location due to the size of the applicants’ lot and the present location of the existing septic system. They ruled you will need to apply for a new Variance to replace the existing cabin. I’ve assumed you will want to apply for the Variance and have included an Application and Checklist along with a list of the Board Of Adjustment Meeting Dates. Last fall, as I began to prepare the cabin for the mover, I discovered some problems with the existing structure. The floor is rotten in most of the cabin and the exterior walls were constructed of various types of lumber 2 foot on center. Since I intend to put another level on top of the existing building, I do not feel that the exterior walls will accommodate this. Therefore, I am requesting permission to tear down the existing structure and build a new structure that will be the same size as the existing and will comply with all the variances granted in the application dated November, 1996.
