The highest floor to ceiling height is 7 feet, and the lowest at 6’ 1”. The new floor of every addition was lowered between 1.5 and 4 inches from the existing floor. The west footings of the main cabin appear to be the only footings that would pass an inspection. All others are on minimal (4 inch) footings with two rows of block, or built on a 4 inch concrete slab with no footing. The Floor joists span lengths up to 20 feet end to end with 2x6 boards laying flat'on the dirt for central support. We propose to tear down and rebuild the main part of our cabin, leaving the deck and sunroom as is, and add 6 x 15 to the roadside to make the cabin a square (28 x 26). To be able to achieve our goal, we need a variance for the following: 1. 4.5 inch variance from the 10 foot lot line setback. 2.
