Permission requested to construct cedar timber access steps to the beach,
centered on the lot line between Lots 12 and 13, Blk 4, Crystal Lida Beaches.
Steps would provide the base for a portable wheelchair access ramp, side rail
protection and side seating, with minimal disturbance of bank soil. Cedar
steps would replace temporary steps now in use, which are too steep for
portable ramp. Maximum depth cut would be 24 inches in 4-6 inch step
configuration.

In response to your letter of August 19th, which makes our permit conditional
on our verifying the vacation of the boulevard between our property and the lake.
Per our conversation in your office this morning we submit the following:
Construction of the steps will be on our own property and will not encroach on the
designated boulevard. We have measured from our rear property line and foimd
that the platted boulevard is beyond the area to be occupied by the steps.

On August 11, 2004 the Planning Commission passed a motion to approve your request.
This approval has a condition. Their motion is as follows;
A motion by Wilson, second by Zimmerman to approve as presented, provided the
Applicant verifies that the boulevard is vacated.
On August 17, 2004 the County Board of Commissioners passed a motion to approve the
request as recommended by the Planning Commission.
Once our Office has been informed that the condition has been met, we will process your
Conditional Use Permit.
