We are going to discontinue Loghaven Resort which currently has
4 carnper lots, 2 cabins and existing variances for 2 additional cabins.
We would like to separate the existing resort into 2 single famhy
residential lots.
At this time we are requesting a variance to split all. of Lot 5 and
West 50’ of Lot 4 Block 2 frorn the easting resort property on Lake Lida.
Lot 6 Block 2 Ex Tracts on -the Lake Lida side would be retained and
permanently attached to the West 50’ 8s East 50’ of Lot 6 Block 3 on the
Crystal Lake side.
On Lot 6 Block 3 of the Crystal Lake side we are asking for a
Variance of 65’ from the OHWL setback of 100’ and a Variance of 15’
from the shore impact zone in order to build a replacement dwelling at
35’ from the OHWL. The proposed residential dwelling would be no closer
to the lake than the existing cabin.
Also on Lot 6 Block 3 we are asking for a Variance to exceed the
25% impervious cover. The property at this time is at 66% impervious
cover and the proposed replacement dwelling would reduce the
impervious cover to approximately 45%. Lot 6 Block 2, on the Lake Lida
side, is our proposed drainfield site and would not have any additional
building on the lot.

increase of 1 to 2 feet in roof height of porch, the porch measurements will not change. Existing
porch is 5’ 4" by 18’ 2".
Randall Mann, Chair, polled the audience with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested.
After consideration and discussion, Paul Larson made a motion, second by Cecil Femling and unanimously
carried, to approve the variance as described in the variance application dated June 8, 2005. Hardship is a
