Required setback is 75’. Requesting a 10’ variance from ordinary high-water level. Our existing imperious surface is for building is 14.7% and for buildings and other is 32.4%. Our proposed imperious surface is building will be 17.1%. Building and other will be 27.9%. Requesting a variance for imperious being 27.9%, required is 25%. Requesting a 2.97% variance for impervious. Please note that we park on our back lot but did add a 200 square foot parking area in our imperious calculations. This parking area is grass. Excluding the 200 square foot parking area our imperious is 25.3%. fhe application was represented by Keith and Bonnie Nelson. The Board noted that the applicants’ proposed project is maintenance to the existing structure. Tammy Hofer - Denied. (7:45 p.m.) Tammy Hofer, part of Lot 8 and all of Lot 9, Jerry-Marg Beach Third Addition, Lake Seven/Scalp in Hobart Township, requested a variance of 66' from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100' for the placement of a 754 square foot deck 34’ from.the ordinary high water level. We would like to separate the existing resort into 2 single family residential lots. At this time we are requesting a variance to split all of Lot 5 and West 50' of Lot 4, Block 2 from the existing resort property on Lake Lida. Lot 6 Block 2 Except Tracis on the Lake Lida side would be retained and permanently attached to the West 50’ and East 50’ of Lot 6, Block 3 on the Crystal Lake side. On Lot 6, Block 3 of the Crystal Lake side we are asking for a variance of 65’ from the ordinary high water level setback of 100’ and a variance of 15’ from the shore impact zone in order to build a replacement dwelling at 35’ from the ordinary high water level. The proposed residential dwelling would be no closer to the lake than the existing cabin. Also on Lot 6, Block 3 we are asking for a variance to exceed the 25% impervious cover. The property at this time is at 66% impervious cover and the proposed replacement dwelling would reduce the impervious cover to approximately 45%. Lot 6 Block 2 on the Lake Lida side is our proposed drain field site and would not have any additional building on the lot. Wes Tweeton, Contractor, appeared with the applicants at the public hearing, Randall Mann, Chair, polled the audience with Keith Johnson, Conley Ruud and Mike McNally speaking for the variance as requested. A letter from Donald McCracken opposing the variance as requested was read for the record. A petition signed by 16 individuals and a letter signed by Kirsten and Tom Anderson in support of the variance application were read for the record.
