We request permission to subdivide our lake property into two separate parcels shown as
Parcel A-1 and Parcel A-2 on the attached survey map, and to do so without necessity of
platting the property, for the following reasons:
The road serving our property and neighboring parcels is a 33 foot private
road easement and would not allow construction of a road to county specifications.
A.
Both resulting lots would be at least 20,000 square feet in size.B.
Both resulting lots would have 140 feet of lake frontage.C.
Both resulting lots would have direct access to the private road easement.D.
In order to properly evaluate the situation, please provide as much supplementary information as possible, such as: maps, plans,
information about surrounding property, etc. APPLICANT SHALL BE PRESENT AT THE SCHEDULED HEARING.
I understand that I have applied for a variance from the requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance of Otter Tail

MOTION AS FOLLOWS:
Motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Cecil Femling and carried with Berton Olson voting no ^
variance to subdivide an existing parcel into two parcels of less than 2.5 acres without platting with the following
conditions’ 1 ) a registered surveyor's drawing will be submitted along with a letter string
property line disputes, and 2.) that no additional variance will be required on the parcel that has
parcel A- 1. Both parcels have access to a public highway and the granting of this variance does not establish a
precedent.
