Motion
Virtyn and Delores Strander - Approved
Motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve an
addition to the applicants’ dwelling with the condition that the north side of the addition can be no closer to the
ordinary high water level than the westerly projection of the existing dwelling and that the addition must be at
least 10’ from the side lot lines. The above variance should place the proposed addition approximately 30’
from the ordinary high water level and should not obstruct the view of neighboring property to the west. It was
noted that the approved variance does provide a reasonable use of a pre-existing structure located in a
restricted zone. Hardship is a substandard lot of record, biased lot lines and the pre-existing structure.
