Motion: A motion by Estes, second by Wilson to approve with the following conditions: 1. The
Applicant must file a drainage plan with the Land & Resource Management Office prior to
construction. 2. The Applicant must plant a natural screening. 3. The existing building must be
for storage and in the proposed building, the repair & maintenance business must not exceed
50%, the remainder is for storage. 4. The signage must be unlit and not exceed 4' x 8’ in size.
Reasons for approval being it is a good use of the land, all issues regarding sanitation, oil &
debris are covered under State Rules, and it is a seasonal business.

Dear Mr. Pfeifle:
This will confirm our telephone conversation of May 27, 2011. As you will recall, we
discussed the citizen complaint our Office received on April 15, 2011 and the results of our
May 18, 2011 onsite inspection.
Specifically, we discussed the requirements of CUP #6356 pertaining to the grade (slope)
between your storage sheds and your signage. As you are aware, the aforementioned,
grade was to slope to the east whereas it now slopes slightly to the west and, your
signage was limited to an unlit 4’ x 8’ sign whereas you have 3 decorative signs on your
northerly storage shed.
Since this is the. case, please bring your property into compliance with your CUP on or
before September 1,2011.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Pfeifle:
On or about April 15, 2011, our Office received a citizen complaint which indicated that
some or all of the conditions of CUP #6356 were not being followed.
On May 18, 2011, an onsite inspection of your property revealed that at least 2 of the
conditions (grade between your storage sheds and signage) do not appear to have been
complied with.
Since this is the case, please contact me (218-998-8095) on or before June 10, 2011 so
that this matter can hopefully be resolved.
