A determination that a practical difficulty exists is based upon consideration of the following criteria: The applicant identified the following practical difficulty: The current cabin was purchased about 30 years ago by Lisa's parents and they bought the property about 5 years ago. They want to do improvements and had the logs inspected as it is a Ior home and they indicated that the logs are rotten and that they shouldn't invest the time and money as they are rotten. They want to remove the dwelling and replace with a new dwelling on the same footprint. They would out the replacement dwelling on the existing basement.
