23 feet to Mr. James Radcliff, who owns Lot 2k to the South.

Block 1, Trowbridge Point, Candor Township,. After listening to the various interested
parties, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Frank Lachowitzer and carried,
to grant approval, hardship being creating two better lots out of three substandard
lots.

Larry E. Brasel , Perham, MN, withdrew his request to record a lot of less than 2U
acres without going through the subdivision process, in G.L. 3, Section 30, Corliss
Townsh i p.
Bernard Corcoran, Fargo, ND, requested permission tO plat out less than 2J^ acres
without the benefit of platting or surveyor's drawing, in S.L. 3 of G.L. 1 , Section
13, Amor Township. Mr. Jim Beyer appeared in Mr. Corcoran's absence. After dis-.
, cussion, motion was made by Tom Stringer, seconded by Craig Anderson and carried,
to approve recording a document of conveyance without a registered surveyor's
drawing, the parcel being described as having, a distance of no greater than 214 feet
on the common boundary line between S.L. 2 and S.L, 3 of G.L, 1, measured from the
northwesterly most corner of S.L. 3, in a southeasterly direction towards Otter Tail
Lake, and a line dividing S.L. 3 be at 90° angles from the common boundary line between

the following resolution was adopted:
RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail County
Minnesota, that
WHEREAS, some townships within Otter Tail County haveadopted and
are enforcing zoning ordinance which may be, in some cases, more restrictive than
requirements set forth in the Otter Tail County Shoreland Management Ordinance or
the Subdivision Controls Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment is obligated to
send notices and conduct hearings regarding applications for variances and thereby
incurs expenditures of time and money; and
WHEREAS, applications for variance are subject to action by the
appropr’dte Town Board; and’
WHEREAS, the applicants themeselves have certain expenditures re
sulting from the variance procedures.
' NOW, THEREFORE, bE.IT RESOLVED, that approval by the Town Board
of Supervisors in the appropriate Township'must be obtained on all applications
for variance before such applications are submitted to the Otter Tail County
Board of Adjustment.oca
