My goal is to gain your permission to add a second story to my existing cabin. The rationale for make this change is due primarily to support my ever expanding family and the bonding allowed my family by spending time together at the lake. Judi and I have owned the cabin for over 26 years. During that time we raised a "blended" family of six children, two boys and four girls. Our time at the lake has always been a time to shed the busyness of everyday life and retreat to a place where we could draw close to one another and develop relationship bonds that have grown and lasted over the years. Several years ago, Judi and I began spending our winters in Arizona. Each year, because of health reasons, we find our time up here to be less and less. One of our great blessings is that during our time up here our six children and our ten grandchildren gather together and come "home" to our cabin. It has been here that vye have bonded and sustained the love relationships as our family has grown. As our family continues to grow we are seeing the continued need to add more space to accommodate everyone. We have thought about building elsewhere, but that wouldn't be honie for anyone. We love our cabin and its location, we know and trust our neighbors, this is our home. Hence, we would like to add a second story to our cabin (three bedrooms and a family room). The total square footage of the addition would be only about ^68 square feet or so. Upon approval of the addition we also plan on alleviating our current approved septic tank sewage system and developing an approved drain field across the road with a lift pump to better handle the cabins sewage needs. I Please allow us toTmake this addition. Thankypu, / Gerald and Judi McDonald. • >; %
