DONALD WEICKERT - APPROVED
Donald Weickert, Perham. MN. requested a variance for a water orientated accessory structure
of 2' from the allowable height of I O' and 36 square feet from the allowable square footage of
250'. The property Is described as part of Government Lot 2 In Section 35 of German Township
on Little Pine Lake. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request.
After consideration, motion was made by Cecil Fern ling, seconded by Victor Petterson and
unanimously carried, to approve the variance as requested, as It Is not a water orientated
accessory structure, but rather an addition to the existing structure which does not extend out
past the present building line. It Is no closer to the lake than the existing building
MARY PAT COLLINS - APPROVED
Mary Pet Collins, Edina, MN. requested a 47' variance from the shoreland setback of 75' for the
construction of a 14'by 16'addition to theexistingdwelling. The property Is described as Lots
16, 17 and 18 , Midland Beach, pelican Lake In Dunn Township. The audience was polled with
no one speaking for or against this request. Letters In support of the variance request from
Harlan and OoAnn Geiger and Wayne and Linda Pudwill were read for the record. After
consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Cecil Femlihgand unanimously
carried, to approve the construction of the 14' by 16' addition 4' back from the existing
structure on the lake side. The addition will not be any closer than Ihe ex Isting structure.
DAVID DOATZ - APPROVED '
David Boatz, Richvllle, MN. requested a variance to construct a garage 12 to 15' from the road
right -of-way setback. The property Is described as Lot 13, Klines and Adams 2nd Addition and
Lot 11, HutmachersAdd'n, Marlon Lake In OeadLake Township. The audience was polled with no
one speaking for or against this request. After consldaratlon, motion was made by Craig
Anderson, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to approves 3' variance from the
road right-of-way setback of 20'. Hardship being a substandard lot of record and the pre
existing conditions of this lot.
ALBERT SKAR ' TABLED
Albert Skar, Vergas. MN, requested a 6' variance from Ihe side lot line setback for Ihe
construction of near port. Will be 4'from the lot line. The property Is described as Lot 5 and
NI/2 of Lot 6, Block 1, Trowbridge Point, Luk Lake In Candor Township. The audience was
polled with no one speaking for or against this request. The applicant had requested that his
variance request be tabled After consideration, motion was made by Dan Oehler, seconded by
Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to table the variance request until the proper
Information could be provided.

Paul and Jeanne Beare, Moorhead. MN. requested a variance toconstruct a 36' by 28' house on
Winer Lake with the front of the house 97' from the lake end the front of the deck 89' from the
lake. The 12' on the north end of the deck will be a screened porch with a roof. The property Is
describedaspart of Lot I Block 2. Karinall and part of Government Lot 8. Section 3 of Hobart
Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. A letter
from Ken and Marlys Jacobson In favor of granting the variance request was read for the record.
After consideration, motion was mode by Dan Oehler, seconded by John Everts and carried with
Victor Petterson voting nay to deny this variance request as no adequate hardship had been
shown.
ALBERT SKAR - PARTIAL REFUND OF APPLICATION FEE.
The variance request of Albert Skar was tabled from the September 5th, 1991 meeting due to
the incompleteness of his variance application. Since It has bean determined that a new variance
request Is needed before any action can be taken a motion was made by Dan Oehler, seconded by
Victor Petterson and unanimously carried to refund to Albert Skar the i 10.00 recording fee
that he paid as a part of his variance application fee. The new variance request will be heard at
the October 3rd, 1991 meeting.
With no further business. Chairman Walter declared the meeting adjourned.
