As property owners on Leek Lake we make the following observations and comments. 1) Provided that the requested garage is built according to code, is completed, and is maintained, we have no objection to the 35 foot variance which would allow the garage five feet from the road right-of-way. 2) We do object to the mobile home presently situated immediately adjacent to the road. It is an old unit, not well maintained, and not pleasing to the eye in that location. One of us has been advised by a realtor that its presence there does detract from the value of our property and would be a hindrance in the sale of our property.
