MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT February 4, 1982 The Otter Tail County Board of Adjustmentmet at 7:00 p,m., Thursday, February 4, 1982, in the Commissioners Room of the Otter Tail County Courthouse, Fergus Fall^, with Craig Anderson, Wilfred Estes, John Everts and Tom Stringer present, George Walter absent. Craig Anderson presiding. Upon motion made by Tom Stringer, seconded by John Everts and car ried, the minutes of the December 3rd meeting were approved as mailed. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blake, Ver'gas, Minnesota, appeared before the Board relative to a denial on a variance request presented on August 6, 1981. was advised to contact the Land £ Resource Management Office to check on alternate He plans that might be acceptable. The following applications for variance were considered: \Stephen Hofland, New York Mills, MN, tabled from the December 3, 1981 meeting, re quests permission to tranefer by metes and bounds description without the benefit- of a registered land survey a certain portion of the SW^cSW^t; of Section 4, Butler Township, containing 5.1 acres.After considerable discussion, motion was made by Tom Stringer, seconded by John Everts and carried, to deny said request as no hard ship was shown.since the ordinance does not recognize cost as being a hardship.
