I feel you can in good conscience grant the Fla#tens the variance. Flaten. The request for the variance for the addition on the east side will in no way interfere with the natural beauty and lay of the land. No trees will be disturbed. We (my sisters and I) have our lake place directly across from the Flatens. During the summer we cannot even see their place because of the heavy growth of trees. If the Flatens build on the other side, the west side---- and that is permissible--they will uproot several trees and do more to change the natural beauty and lay of the land.
