Craig Anderson presiding.■ * Upon motion made by Tom Stringer, seconded by John Everts and car­ ried, the minutes of the December 3rd meeting were approved as mailed. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blake, Verges, Minnesota, appeared before the Board relative to a denial on a variance request presented on August 6, 1981.He was advised to contact the Land 6 Resource Management Office to check on alternate plans that might be acceptable. The following applications for variance were considered: Stephen Hofland. New York Mills, MN, tabled from the December 3, 1981 meeting, re­ quests permission to transfer by metes and bounds description without the benefit. of a registered land survey a certain portion of the SW^SW^t; of Section 4, Butler Township, containing 5.1 acres.After considerable discussion, motion was made by Tom Stringer, seconded by John Everts and carried, to deny said request as no hard­ ship was shown.since the ordinance does not recognize cost as being a hardship.
