(7:38 p.m.) After discussion and consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion, second by Robert Schwartz and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 66’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the placement of a structure 34’ from the ordinary high water level with the following conditions: 1.) the existing house and garage must be removed prior to the issuance of a site permit for the proposed project, and 2.) no more than 25% of the total lot area can be covered with impervious surfaces. The Board noted that if they required the placement of the proposed development outside of the shore impact zone the applicant’s view would be obstructed by the structures on the adjacent properties.
